PULSION, ANGELS & ANARCHY'S CODING PARTY

    Hello there . On the first of september 1991 , PULSION ,ANGELS
and ANARCHY , organized a coding party in EVRY , in south suburd of
PARIS ,in FRANCE of course . I believe that it was their first C.P.

About 70 persons were there .I saw : NAOS , LEGACY , NEXT (hi FFT ! ),
OVERLANDERS ,HOLOCAUST ,OXYGENE ,EQUINOX , THE STORM BROTHERS ,
ANARCHY of course , BRAIN BUSTERS too ,and a lot of other groups .( sorry
but I forgot some people ) . Well know crews were there but only one or
two members . For exemple : DIM for OVR ( crazy plasma !!!! ),FFT for NEXT ,
(I love your musaks  ,guy ! ) ....ETC
So , I can say that it was coll but my general opinion is quite bad !
Yes . It is the first Coding Party I see that only lasted one day .
( from 8 in the morning to 6 in the afternoon ) . 10 hours , it is very
short to make a screen ! And C.P. in the night is more interesting .
I must add the fact that nothing was organized for eating .( Nearly
nothing . )

The best way to describe dis day is to tell you how this day appears to me .
My friends and I made about 400 km to go to EVRY .( EH guys ! Next time ,we
take MY road !! I didn't like your shortcut !! )
Arrived in EVRY , a question was say . Where is the C.P. ?
Yes , the organisators didn't send us any map of EVRY ! We had to buy a map
of EVRY in a supermarket to find the road ! After driving 1 hour in the
town , we find the building . No parking for the car .We entered the room
and an organisator arrived .The first thing he said is :
"Hello . Have you paid the entrance ?"    ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!!!!!!
Good start ! . We were there for 30 seconds and we had to pay the entrance.
COOOOLLLL !!! ( the entrance was 20 Fr ) We took our ATARI ST . there
was no tables and no chairs for us . We made a table with pallets and
we found old chairs in a corner of the room .It was the real ANARCHY
there .( Now I know why the crew is called ANARCHY ! )
We begin to talk with other crews , to look at demo screens ...ETC
It was cool now . FFT of NEXT showed the PHALEON DEMO screens , a preview
of a soundchip editor , and some other stuff .The other crews made like
him , showing screens and copying demos ( like the VODKA DEMO ) .
We found a bar to eat a sandwitch .( We were lucky coz the barman was
going to close the shop !! ) . Then we saw a preview of the disk 1 of
the TRANSBEAUCE 2 ( bugged but very , very nice )
Then , we looked at the results of the demo contest .

                2nd :     LEGACY
                ... .     .........
I don't remember the other results .( Sorry for the teams who were in
them ) . I heard some questions like : "Who was the jury ?? "
Strange isn't it ?  FFT of NEXT received the price : a disk with
a yellow door on which was written : "ANARCHY"  . YEAH ! It was
the golden disk ! FFT was very happy coz he needed a blank disk to
copy the VODKA DEMO .
After the results , nearly all the teams went home .When we went out ,
An organisator ( the one who asked for the entrance ) asked us ( It
looks like an order ) to put the pallets back in its place and to
tidy a part of the room !!!!!  He said :
"I already tidy pallet so two ... ! "
                        INCREDIBLE  !!!!!!!

I want to ensure myself : when you invite someone , do you ask him
to tidy after the party ? Me , no .
Now you know why I have a bad opinion about dis C.P. !
We go there with a new member of our crew .It was his first C.P. .
Believe me , he was very disapointed ! ( Cool YANN ,the next one
will be better )


I am looking forward the day the mega demo will be released ! I think
that I will laught a complete week !
Without some crews like OVR or NEXT , dis TTCP ( Try To Code Party )
would be a L.P. ( lamer party )

Message to the organisators : Next time , try to make things better ,
and it will be a cool C.P. .

        TELL WHAT I SAW ! ( YOU ARE COOL GUYS BUT YOUR
        CODING PARTY WAS THE WORST I HAVE EVER SEEN )
